1/23/11 Jazz Event at the Deer Head Inn

Featuring pianist Skip Wilkins, bassist Paul Rostock, and drummer Bill Goodwin.
What a delightful event at the Deer Head Inn playing and singing some of the greatest
standards from the Great American Songbook. In 2 sets we performed music of Cole Porter,
Gershwin, Rodgers and Hart, Sammy Cahn, Jerome Kern, Oscar Hammerstein, Johnny Mercer,
Henry Mancini, Michel Legrand. I could not have asked for more as a jazz vocalist with this rhythm section behind me. Nothing but pure love for this genre throughout the night.
A big thank you to the Deer Head for hosting this jazz event and keeping the art alive,
kicking and swinging!
